Responsibilities:
Establish, monitor, and enforce supplier delivery SLAs, with a strong focus on OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance.
Proactively identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation plans to protect delivery timelines and business operations.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth order execution and timely resolution of operational bottlenecks.
Investigate and resolve supplier-related discrepancies, including delivery, pricing, quantity, and operational issues.
Manage supplier escalations and ensure resolutions are achieved within agreed timelines.
Take ownership of high-risk or urgent orders, ensuring proactive communication and effective prioritisation based on business impact.
Drive supplier accountability to meet operational expectations, service standards, and delivery commitments.
Monitor and track supplier performance metrics, including delivery accuracy, responsiveness, and issue resolution.
Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and follow-ups to address recurring challenges and improve service delivery.
Work collaboratively with Sales, Warehouse, Customer Service, and Finance teams to resolve procurement and supply chain issues efficiently.
Prepare and present reports on supplier performance, SLA adherence, risks, and improvement initiatives.
Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Maintain strong supplier relationships to support long-term collaboration and operational success.
Experience and Qualifications:
Grade 12 certificate; relevant diploma or qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is advantageous.
3 - 5 years' experience in procurement, supplier coordination, vendor management, or supply chain operations.
Strong understanding of procurement best practices and supply chain management principles.
Experience managing supplier performance, SLAs, and operational escalations.
Knowledge of e-commerce or retail supply chain environments is advantageous.
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional email and phone etiquette.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
High attention to detail with strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated computer literacy and proficiency in relevant systems and reporting tools.
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to drive supplier accountability and collaboration.
