Salary: ₦250,000 - ₦300,000 Gross

Job Summary

We are seeking a Procurement Engineer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of engineering materials, spare parts, machinery, equipment, and other technical supplies required for smooth manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities


Source and procure engineering spare parts, machinery, equipment, and industrial materials.
Identify, evaluate, and manage reliable local and international suppliers.
Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate competitive prices and payment terms.
Prepare and process purchase orders while ensuring timely delivery.
Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, Stores, Finance, and QA teams to understand technical requirements.
Review technical specifications and ensure procured items meet required standards.
Monitor supplier performance, lead times, quality, and costs.
Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare regular reports.
Support inventory planning and ensure critical engineering items are available when required.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, HSSE requirements, and ethical procurement practices.


Qualifications & Experience


Bachelor\'s Degree/HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Purchasing & Supply, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
3 - 5 years\' experience in procurement, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong experience sourcing engineering spare parts, machinery, equipment, and technical materials.
Good understanding of technical specifications and engineering materials.
Strong negotiation, supplier management, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in ERP procurement systems and Microsoft Office.
CIPS/CIPSMN certification is an added advantage.
