About the Role

The Product Designer sits at the intersection of user experience, product thinking, and business strategy, taking end to end ownership of design from discovery and problem framing through implementation. The role works closely with Product Managers, Engineers, QA, and other stakeholders to create intuitive, scalable, and practical digital experiences that meet customer needs and support the Bank's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Understand core product infrastructure well enough to design practical, buildable solutions.
Take end to end ownership of design across product areas, from problem framing through final handoff.
Translate complex user and business requirements into clear flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
Drive design decisions with a clear rationale tied to user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
Ensure all design deliverables meet quality standards before reaching Engineering or production.
Manage multiple design initiatives while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and QA throughout the product development lifecycle.
Facilitate alignment between Design, Product, and Engineering teams on scope, constraints, and tradeoffs.
Present design decisions and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Work directly with Engineering to understand technical constraints and develop practical solutions.
Prepare clear design specifications and assets for developer handoff.
Review implementation and conduct design QA to ensure the final product reflects approved designs.

Required Qualifications

4 - 6 years of Product Design experience, with strong consumer facing, fintech, banking, or digital product experience.
Proven track record of owning design end to end across complex digital products.
Experience working in cross functional teams alongside Product and Engineering.
A strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking, process, and outcomes, not just visual designs.
Deep proficiency in Figma, including component architecture, prototyping, and clean file management.
Strong grasp of mobile first design principles across Android, iOS, and responsive platforms.
Solid understanding of interaction design, information architecture, usability, and responsive layouts.
Familiarity with design systems, design tokens, developer handoff, and design QA.
Strong understanding of technical constraints and the ability to create practical, buildable solutions.
