Responsibilities
Execute the assembly, calibration, and testing of medical devices in strict accordance with ISO 13485 standards.
Lead weekly and monthly physical stock takes for raw materials and finished goods to ensure inventory accuracy. Reconcile physical inventory counts with digital records and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
Track and report scrap or rejected components to support lean manufacturing and cost-efficiency goals.
Maintain controlled environments by following strict cleanroom sterilization and contamination control procedures.
Monitor reorder levels for critical components and coordinate with procurement to prevent production downtime.
Manage device traceability by assigning and tracking batch/lot numbers from raw materials to final dispatch. Ensure all inventory handling aligns with medical-grade quality and safety protocols.
Requirements
Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology, or Supply Chain Management with a technical background.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical device or high- precision manufacturing environment.
Deep understanding of ISO 13485 (Medical Devices - Quality Management Systems) and proficiency in inventory software (ERP/SAP).
Exceptional numerical accuracy and mathematical skills for precise stock reconciliation and unit measurements.
Ability to manage high-volume SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) with a methodical approach to labeling and storage.
High level of ethics and a "zero-error" mindset regarding life- saving equipment.
Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate between production staff and warehouse managers.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and digital inventory tracking tools.
