Production Manager - Welding & Industrial (East Rand) at MPRTC Recruitment

An experienced Production Manager is required to lead and oversee all production activities within a welding and industrial manufacturing environment. The role is responsible for achieving delivery targets, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and managing workforce performance.


Requirements


Matric or relevant tertiary qualification
SAIW or IIW Level 1 Welding Inspector Diploma (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a supervisory or production management role
Proven experience within a manufacturing or industrial production environment
Knowledge of quality standards and ISO requirements (including ISO 3834)
Experience managing order fulfilment, delivery schedules, and production targets
Workforce management experience, including performance management and disciplinary processes
Strong understanding of health and safety compliance in a production environment
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office
Excellent communication skills (English and Afrikaans)
Refrigeration experience advantageous
