Role purpose:
To take full operational ownership of an assigned production unit, ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective production while maintaining quality standards, controlling materials and stocks, developing people, implementing improvement projects and maintaining high standards of 6S and workplace discipline.
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, Industrial Technology, Food Science/Technology or another relevant technical discipline.
2 - 5 years' experience in manufacturing/production operations.
Experience supervising production teams.
Demonstrated ability to manage people and achieve production targets.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production systems.
Good computer literacy, particularly Excel and production reporting systems.
Advantageous qualifications
Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma training.
ISO/QMS experience.
Experience with OEE and production KPIs.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
Experience in plastics processing, FMCG, packaging or other high-volume manufacturing.
Experience implementing improvement projects.
