Requirements :
Matric/ Senior certificate. Basic R425 qualification i.e. diploma / degree in nursing or equivalent qualification and currently registered with SANC as a professional nurse. Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse. The candidate with experience of termination of pregnancy will be an added advantage.
Duties :
Provide direction and supervision for the implementation of the nursing care plan (clinical practice/quality patient care). Implement standards, practices, criteria and indicators for quality nursing.
Practice nursing and health care in accordance with the laws and regulations relevant to nursing and health care. Maintain a constructive working relationship with nursing and other stakeholders.
Utilize human material and physical resources efficiently and effectively. Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and development of self and subordinates. Implement Infection Control and proper waste management.
Compulsory shift work and flexibility. Good communication and report writing skills. Problem solving skills. Evaluation skills. Ability to engage appropriate stakeholder on quality patient care. Sound leadership skills.
