Job Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Professor
A PhD in Agricultural Engineering or related engineering discipline.
At least 10 years teaching experience in tertiary institution or seven (07) years professional experience in the relevant field.
At least 15 articles published in accredited journals, chapters in a book and book publication.
Evidence of supervision of completed four Master or Doctoral students.
Registration as a Candidate/Professional with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and/or other statutory and vocational bodies for foreign nationals is an added advantage.
Associate Professor
A PhD in Agricultural Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
At least 10 years teaching experience in tertiary institution or seven (07) years professional experience in the relevant field.
At least 10 articles published in accredited journals, chapters in a book and book publication.
Evidence of supervision of completed four Master or Doctoral students.
Registration as a Candidate/Professional with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and/or other statutory and vocational bodies for foreign nationals is an added advantage.
Senior Lecturer:
A PhD in Agricultural Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline
At least 5 years teaching experience at tertiary institution, or seven (07) year professional experience in the relevant field
At least 5 publications in accredited, peer reviewed journals
Evidence of supervision of 5 postgraduate students at Honours level
Registration as a Candidate/Professional with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and/or other statutory and vocational bodies for foreign nationals is an added advantage.
