Key Responsibilities
Lead evidence-based program design aligned with SIF's strategic priorities and donor requirements
Identify funding opportunities and lead proposal and concept note development
Ensure programs comply with donor regulations, SIF policies, and humanitarian standards
Oversee program quality assurance, MEAL systems, and risk management
Represent SIF with donors, UN agencies, government institutions, NGOs, and partners
Lead recruitment, capacity building, and performance management of program staff
Coordinate closely with Finance, Logistics, HR, MEAL, and Security teams
Promote compliance with Child Safeguarding, PSEA, Anti-Fraud, and Code of Conduct policies
Requirements
Master's degree (or equivalent) in a development-related field (Community Development, International Cooperation, Food Security, WASH, Protection, etc.)
At least 8 years of relevant humanitarian/development field experience, including 4+ years in a senior Program Coordinator or Manager role
Proven experience in sectors such as Food Security, Livelihoods, Cash Transfer, WASH, Shelter, DRR, or Youth/Women Empowerment
Experience in the Somalia and/or Kenya context is a strong advantage
Strong track record in proposal writing and donor reporting in English
Strong knowledge of Program Cycle Management (PCM), budget management, and MEAL frameworks
Excellent leadership, stakeholder coordination, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure in complex, dynamic, and insecure environments
