This is a full-time hybrid role for a Programs Manager - Conservation Impact & Education (Fundraising-Focused) based in Nairobi County, Kenya, with opportunities for remote work. The Programs Manager will oversee and manage conservation education programs, develop fundraising strategies, and build partnerships with stakeholders. The role involves creating impactful conservation campaigns, organizing events, managing program budgets, preparing reports, and leading fundraising efforts to support the organization's mission and goals. The candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with internal and external teams while ensuring the successful delivery of initiatives that align with TonyWild's vision.
Qualifications
Strong skills in fundraising, donor relations, and partnership building
Experience in program management, project planning, and budget oversight
Exceptional writing, editing, and communications skills for creating impactful content
Knowledge of conservation issues, education, and sustainable resource management
Proficiency in social media engagement, marketing, and public relations strategies
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
Passion for wildlife conservation and education
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Communications, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
Previous experience in the nonprofit sector or conservation-focused organizations is an advantage
