Duties and Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of the selected candidate will entail:


Backend development of AIMS modules including server-side logic, databases, and APIs.
Participate in requirements gathering and translation into technical backend specifications.
Design and implementation of database structures and data models.
Integrate AIMS with internal and external systems and services.
Implement approved coding standards and version control practices.
Participate in system testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and address issues arising from QA processes.
Provide technical documentation, deployment guides, and system manuals.
Resolve backend-related incidents and service requests.
Monitor backend system performance and support enhancement activities.
Participate in change management and rollout of system updates and releases.
Prepare routine progress and technical status reports.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Component III Coordinator or Project Management


Academic and Professional Qualifications


Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum of three (3) years' experience in backend software development or related ICT field.
Additional training or certification in databases, programming, or application development will be an added advantage
Demonstrated results in work performance
Proficiency in Computer applications
Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.
