We're recruiting on behalf of a client looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Engineer to join their team in Germiston. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven engineering professional to lead multidisciplinary projects within a fast-paced process plant and industrial engineering environment.

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing projects from concept and design through procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning. The successful candidate will coordinate technical teams, manage client relationships, monitor project schedules and budgets, and ensure successful project delivery. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative engineering solutions within the process plant sector, supporting projects across mining, hydrometallurgical, petrochemical, and related industries.
Education:
BEng / BSc / BTech in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
Project Management qualification advantageous
Professional registration with ECSA advantageous
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Minimum 5 years' Project Engineering experience
Experience within process plants, EPC/EPCM, mining, manufacturing, petrochemical, or related industries
Strong understanding of project execution methodologies
Proven experience managing project schedules, budgets, and resources
Exposure to procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning activities
Excellent stakeholder and client relationship management skills
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
