Role Overview

The Project Engineer will play a pivotal role in leading and managing engineering projects and operations within the Engineering & Integrated Services Division. This position is designed for a highly skilled professional who can oversee planning, coordination, field execution, and quality control of projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards, client expectations, and company objectives.

What You'll Do


Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and lead execution of engineering projects/operations.
Define project parameters, assign responsibilities, and monitor efficiency of project teams.
Lead CAD analysis, design reviews, and development for assigned projects.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory stakeholders, representing company interests on-site.
Monitor compliance with QA/QC standards, HSE policies, codes, and specifications.
Review deliverables (SOWs, CADs, design drawings) and prepare project documentation.
Perform site visits, scoping, and CTR alignment to support SCM/Proposal teams.
Support BD/Sales team in presentations and technical engagements with prospective clients.
Coordinate and mentor junior engineers and technical personnel in project execution.
Drive company QHSE expectations, reporting HSE performance as required.

Budget adherence and cost efficiency (value for money).
Zero project rework and regulatory infractions.

What We Are Looking For

Education


Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (mandatory).
Project Management Training with proof (mandatory).
PMP certification (advantage).
MBA/MSc (added advantage).
NSE/COREN Membership (competitive advantage).
ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 training (advantage).


Experience


8 - 10 years' work experience in Oil & Gas, with at least 6 years in construction project management.
Proven expertise in project and operations management.
Experience in facility/equipment maintenance processes.


Knowledge & Skills


Strong project management methodologies and commercial acumen.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and interpretation of P&ID, Isometrics, Plot Plans, and GADs.
Competence in MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical thinker with problem-solving ability and flexibility.
High ethical standards, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Ability to mentor and develop team members.
