Motorola Solutions is seeking a Project Manager Intern to join the System Integration team in South Africa.
This role is designed for a recent graduate looking to build a career in project management within a technology-driven environment. You will support the delivery of complex integration projects that enable mission-critical communications and safety solutions.
You will gain exposure to project planning, stakeholder coordination, and execution within a structured, global organisation.


Job Description
Key Responsibilities


Support Project Managers in the planning and execution of system integration projects
Assist with project scheduling, tracking milestones, and maintaining project plans
Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, sales, finance, operations) to ensure alignment
Prepare project documentation, reports, and status updates
Track project risks, issues, and dependencies and escalate where required
Assist in managing project budgets, purchase orders, and invoicing processes
Support customer communication and ensure timely follow-ups
Maintain accurate records in project management tools and systems
Participate in project meetings and capture key actions and decisions


Learning Outcomes


Exposure to end-to-end project lifecycle management
Understanding of system integration and mission-critical technologies
Stakeholder management across technical and commercial teams
Practical experience with project tools, reporting, and governance


Minimum Qualifications & Experience


Bachelor's degree (or final year) in:
Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Industrial)
Information Systems / IT
Business Management or related field
Strong academic record
No prior work experience required (internship or part-time experience advantageous)
