The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating the execution of high-impact strategic projects across the Sales & Distribution function. The role will ensure that strategic initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and achieve the intended business outcomes.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Driving the end-to-end delivery of strategic Sales & Distribution initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
Establishing robust project governance, tracking milestones, risks, dependencies, and benefits realisation.
Coordinating cross-functional teams, including Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, IT, Procurement, and external partners, to ensure seamless execution.
Providing programme management support to the Sales & Distribution leadership team, including project reporting, steering committee updates, and executive dashboards.
Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer service, route-to-market effectiveness, and commercial performance through project delivery.
Leading change management activities to support successful implementation and adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working.
Monitoring project outcomes, measuring business benefits, and embedding continuous improvement practices across the function.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE:
Bachelor's degree: Business Management, Commerce, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
A recognised Project Management qualification or certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent) will be advantageous.
Postgraduate qualification (MBA or Honours) will be an added advantage
At least 5 years project management experience preferably within FMCG
