As the Project Manager, you will lead overall project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure the construction and operationalization of 3 vaccine hubs (Abuja and Kano), manage the operation and maintenance contracts for solarization of over 370 health centers, oversee the defect liability period for Abuja Premier Warehouse, operationalize the Lagos Hub and ensure they are all delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, in accordance with approved project objectives and work plans.
You will report to the Nigeria Country Office Chief of Health and will work with the Health Managers responsible for leading the Primary Health Care, Immunization and maternal, neonatal and child heath (MNCH) clusters.

Minimum Requirements
Education: An Advanced University Degree (Master's or higher) in health, public health construction management, financial management, management, international relations, or closely related field is required.
Work Experience: A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in the management of projects within the national/international health sector is required.

Language Requirements : Proficient/Fluent level of English is required.
Desirables:
Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
Prior experience working in global health initiatives (Global Fund, GFF, GAVI, Republic of Korea) managing projects in Nigeria or similar country settings or programmes is an asset.
Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated knowledge of and professional experience in at least three of the following areas:
Management of immunization related projects
Contributions to health systems strengthening funding applications and programmes
Introduction of innovations in complex contexts
Experience and knowledge of the Nigerian context
Experience working in a UN system agency or organization, or in a global health initiative (TGF, GAVI, GFF) or development bank
Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
