Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and reliable Automobile Mechanic (Light Vehicle) with a minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing light vehicles.
The ideal candidate must be technically sound, safety-conscious, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.


Key Responsibilities


Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in light vehicles.
Carry out routine vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
Repair and replace faulty engine parts, brakes, suspension, steering, and transmission systems.
Inspect vehicles to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
Maintain accurate service and repair records.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and workshop procedures.
Keep the workshop clean, organized, and well-maintained.


Requirements & Qualifications


National Diploma (ND) or equivalent technical qualification in Automobile Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years relevant experience as an automobile mechanic (light vehicles).
Strong knowledge of petrol and diesel light vehicles.
Ability to diagnose faults accurately and repair efficiently.
Familiarity with modern diagnostic tools and equipment.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Additional Skills (Added Advantage):


Basic auto-electrical knowledge.
Experience working with multiple vehicle brands.
Strong time management and customer service skills.


Compensation & Benefits


Competitive salary of N150,000 - N200,000 monthly (based on experience).
