Job Purpose:
As the Project, Monitoring and Evaluation officer, you are responsible for all monitoring, evaluation, and reporting activities under the IHVN ASPIRE-OVC project. You are to lead the development of and manage the project's performance monitoring plan. You are also expected to develop and maintain systems to collect and analyse information on outputs, inputs, outcomes and imparts of the program, conduct supportive supervisory visits to sub-grantees to observe, monitor, provide guidance and quality feedback on the use of data and indicators, and analyses data and support training of data assistants in quality assurance methods.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage OVC Data Management-documentation, filing, updates of registers, tool inventory and data verification.
Manage Data base, NOMIS entry, data validation, data base backup, data base update, NOMIS monthly summary and data export.
Respond to Data Request.
Harmonise Data with other program area (data review).
Provide supportive supervision/monitoring to community volunteers.
Provide weekly and monthly reports to funders.
Collect and collate reports from field sites.
Develop the Project M&E plan.
Collate data from community improvement team.
Support the ASPIRE project, M&E activities in target communities.
Required Core Skills:
Demonstrated Experience and knowledge in establishing systems and overseeing program start-up under limited time constraints as well as program close-out.
Demonstrated Strong analytical, managerial, leadership, communications, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills, written and oral ability to relate sensitively to diverse groups.
Good report writing skills.
Good interpersonal and team working skills.
Highly developed computer skills with strong familiarity with MS Excel & Word are mandatory.
Experience in training, capacity building of partners and team members.
