Project Officer

Avoris Consultancy is recruiting a Project Officer for a registered Nigerian foundation based in Abuja that works on health, education and community welfare. The foundation will employ the successful candidate directly. Contract: 12 months, renewable subject to performance and funding Salary: ₦150,000 per month Location: Abuja (mainly remote) What you'll do Plan, coordinate and deliver programme activities to schedule and budget Engage communities, partners, volunteers and beneficiaries Collect and manage programme data; support monitoring and evaluation Write activity reports, case stories and donor or partner updates Manage logistics, procurement requests and records for events and outreach Keep accurate files on beneficiaries, attendance and expenditure Support fundraising, proposal writing and communications as needed Requirements Bachelor's degree in social sciences, public health, development studies or a related field 1 - 3 years' experience in project coordination or programme support with an NGO, foundation or development organisation (NYSC experience in this sector counts) Strong written English and report writing Good working knowledge of Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (Docs, Sheets, Excel) Organised, reliable and comfortable working independently and with communities
