Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Officer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects within our mechanical engineering operations.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in communication, passionate about delivering quality results, and capable of managing multiple project tasks efficiently.
The role requires someone who can work collaboratively with technical teams, ensure project timelines are met, and maintain strong attention to detail throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in project planning, scheduling, and execution of mechanical engineering projects.
Coordinate with engineers, technicians, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project implementation.
Monitor project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and budgets.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and progress updates.
Support procurement and logistics coordination for project materials and equipment.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Track project performance and escalate potential risks or delays.
Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
Participate in site visits, inspections, and project meetings when required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Engineering Management, Project Management, or related field.
2 - 5 years experience in project coordination or engineering project management.
Experience working in a mechanical engineering, construction, manufacturing, or technical services environment is an advantage.
