Responsibilities


Operate pumps and related equipment in line with site requirements and operating procedures.
Inspect pumps, hoses, pipes, valves, and connections before and during operation.
Monitor pump performance and promptly report faults, leaks, blockages, or breakdowns.
Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of pumping equipment.
Monitor fluid levels, pressure, and flow to ensure efficient operation.
Keep records of pump usage, maintenance, and operational issues where required.
Perform other related duties assigned by the Site Engineer or Construction Manager.


Qualifications


Minimum of SSCE or equivalent.
Previous experience operating pumps, preferably on a construction site, is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of pump operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with other site personnel.
Physically fit and able to work in a construction environment.
