We are a dynamic and growing supermarket and wholesale business in Nakuru CBD. We are seeking an experienced member to join our purchasing team and execute procurement strategies for our supermarket, wholesale and restaurant businesses.
Handling purchasing roles together with the team, while ensuring that availability of goods is purely governed by stocks, sales and cashflow in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in procurement planning and support the implementation of purchasing strategies in line with the budget.
Supplier Management, handling negotiations with suppliers in line with procurement procedures of the company, while building & maintaining long-term supplier relationship.
Work with finance, operations, and logistics teams to align purchasing with business needs.
Align purchase decisions with sales trends, stock velocity, and company cash flow ensuring cost savings.
Evaluation and selection of suppliers based on performance, reliability, and compliance.
Stock analysis to ensure availability and appropriate stock holding, also ensure supplier communications. Reporting & Accountability
Qualification Requirements;
A bachelor's degree in Purchasing & Supplies/Management
At least 4 years relevant work experience
Fully conversant with procurement principles
Proficient in ERP Accounting systems.
Strong Communication Skills
Professional Ethics & Integrity.
