Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and stability of Neptune MFB's banking applications, APIs, mobile apps, and internal tools. This role goes beyond UI testing — it involves API, backend, data, and process validation in a real banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
Perform manual and automated testing for: Core banking workflows, Transaction processing, APIs (REST & gRPC), Mobile and web applications
Test integrations with payment gateways, NIBSS, switches, and third parties
Perform regression, smoke, and sanity testing
Identify, document, and track bugs to closure
Collaborate closely with developers and product teams
Validate fixes and ensure no production regressions
Support UAT and production releases
Help improve QA processes and testing standards
Required Skills & Experience
At least 3+ years experience as a QA / Test Engineer
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies
Experience testing backend systems and APIs
Ability to write and execute test cases independently
Familiarity with tools like: Postman / Insomnia, JMeter (basic), Selenium / Playwright (nice to have), Cypress, Junit
Strong analytical and documentation skills
High attention to detail (critical for banking systems)
Nice to Have
Experience in banking, fintech, or payments
Knowledge of SQL for data validation
Exposure to automation frameworks
Understanding of compliance-driven environments
