Responsibilities
Manual Testing: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on product requirements and user stories.
FinTech Focus: Execute in-depth testing for our FinTech platform, including payments, ledger systems, compliance features, and user interfaces.
Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects using our defect tracking system, collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Regression and Smoke Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain intact after changes and execute daily smoke tests on new builds.
Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and review meetings, actively contributing to the quality strategy for the team.
Environment Setup: Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments.
Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation of test results, testing procedures, and best practices.
Requirements
Experience: 1 to 3 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
Manual Testing Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in various manual testing techniques, including functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
FinTech Domain Knowledge: Understanding of, or demonstrable interest in, financial technology, including concepts like payments, transfers, or banking processes.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively report defects and communicate with cross-functional teams.
Tools: Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
Experience with testing APIs (e.g., Postman).
Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
