Key Responsibilities


Inspect and test construction materials such as concrete, steel, and raw materials to verify compliance with quality standards
Conduct laboratory and field tests to assess material strength, durability, and safety
Monitor and enforce quality control procedures throughout production processes
Review project plans, specifications, and standards to understand required quality benchmarks
Document test results, inspection details, and deviations in clear and accurate reports
Identify defects or non-conformities and recommend corrective actions
Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and project managers to resolve quality issues
Ensure compliance with civil engineering standards, regulations, and safety codes
Prepare detailed quality reports summarizing findings and recommendations
Maintain QC testing equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality


Key Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
1 - 3 years of experience in quality control, ideally within civil engineering or construction
Hands-on experience with materials testing (concrete, cement, and other product raw materials)
Ability to analyze test results, identify issues, and recommend improvements
Familiarity with QC testing equipment and measurement tools used in civil engineering
Proficiency in quality analysis tools, MS Excel, and report-writing software
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD-generated plans
Experience with QC or material testing software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, concrete/soil testing apps, etc.)
Knowledge of ERP systems, data analysis techniques, and document control systems is an advantage
