Role Summary:
Responsible for implementation and monitoring of the company's QHSE management systems across marine operations, including vessel compliance tracking, audit preparation and close-out support, risk assessments, incident reporting, corrective action tracking, and coordination of safety trainings and drills. The role supports regulatory compliance, class expectations, and client marine assurance requirements across company vessels.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 5 - 8 years QHSE experience
Minimum 5 years supporting marine or offshore vessel operations
Demonstrated experience supporting OVID inspection preparation and follow-up
Experience managing inspection observations and corrective action tracking (ATR close-out support)
Experience supporting ISM internal and external audits
Experience working within client-facing marine assurance environments preferred
Certifications / Competencies:
NEBOSH IGC minimum
ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 Internal Auditor preferred
Strong familiarity with OVID inspection readiness and response workflows
ISM Code working knowledge (audit participation required)
Incident investigation training preferred
Risk assessment facilitation capability
Ability to coordinate corrective actions between vessel crews and shore-based teams
