Ensure all processing areas and the Laboratory are in good sanitary conditions at all times.
Execute the internal calibration of all applicable equipments during the shift. Provide prompt and adequate information on the status of all equipments being used across all processing areas and the Laboratory.
Ensure and track periodic achievement of Quality and Food Safety objectives of the department and the Factory.
Execute proper documentation of all activities, reports and communication with all relevant stakeholders.
Lead usage and efficiency of all laboratory reagents and consumables.
Lead and execute Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) across the factory.
Lead on data integrity of all analysis and tests being performed.
Lead compliance to discipline and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Lead all Process improvement and Shelf-life stability studies and validation.
Lead and document deviation reports, testing protocols and trend analyses.
Lead the handling of all competition analysis, product insight, non - conforming and potentaily unsafe raw, pack and finished products.
Lead compliance with 5s, HACCP and all other applicable Quality, Food safety, Occupational health, safety and environment tools, and policies.
Lead and execute reduction in Non Quality Cost (NQC) including Complaints, market returns, Material/ Supplier non-conformance.
Lead and execute compliance to all applicable standard operating procedures.
Lead and execute Food Safety culture adherence and training.
Support all process and operations improvement projects.
Supervise and drive all Quality and Food safety Improvement initiatives and measures to achieve effective operations of all equipment that could have negative impact on products quality and food safety.
Responsible for all Lab analysis; water, raw, pack and finished goods.
Responsible for recipe compliance and adherence to blending plans.
Perform any other related task assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager and Quality Shift Supervisor


Requirements:


HND/BSc. in Chem/ Ind. Chem/ Micro/ Food Technology or equivalent; relevant professional certification is a plus.
2-5 years' progressive work experience in relevant roles in culinary, food/beverage processing.
Interpret specifications and standards
Understanding of lean manufacturing
Root-cause analysis
Analytical and attentive to details
Excellent relationship skills
