Job Description
We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Quality Assurance / HSE Officer to oversee product quality and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards within the production facility.
Job Responsibilities
Monitor and ensure that all paint products meet the company's quality standards and specifications.
Conduct routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
Maintain accurate records of quality tests, inspections, and product performance reports.
Ensure compliance with all workplace safety regulations and standards.
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments within the factory and office premises.
Organize safety training and awareness programs for staff.
Investigate incidents, accidents, or near misses and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by staff.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and requirements from relevant authorities.
Liaise with management to improve quality assurance processes and workplace safety.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a minimum of HND / B.Sc in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or any related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in quality assurance or HSE, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of quality control procedures and safety regulations.
Good analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Professional certification in HSE is an added advantage.
