Job Objective:

To Support Quality Assurance, Internal Audits and ISO Certification ensuring that highest standards of quality, compliance and certification are maintained within the WIOCC Group. This role involves supporting cross functional Quality Management and assurance processes, supporting internal audits and maintaining ISO and any other industry-based certifications. The specialist will work closely with various departments to implement and monitor quality controls, internal audit practices and ISO standards to support continuous improvement and operational excellence

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Quality Assurance


Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures
Conduct regular inspections and testing of products/services to ensure adherence to quality standards
Identify and address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements and ensure compliance with customer requirements


Internal Audits


Plan, execute and report on internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of controls, compliance with regulations and adherence to company policies
Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions to enhance operational efficiency and risk management
Follow up on audit findings to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues
Maintain comprehensive audit documentation and reports


ISO - based Certifications


Manage and maintain ISO certification processes, including preparation for audits and recertifications
Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001,50001, 22301) and implement necessary updates to policies and procedures
Provide training and support to staff on ISO standards and best practices
Oversee documentation and record-keeping related to ISO compliance and certification
Ensuring management of WIOCC Group Integrated management system


Industry- based Certifications


PCI- DSS (Payment card Industry - Data Security Systems)
Uptime
SOCII
Any other that is preferred by the Business


Minimum Qualifications


Bachelor's degree (or equivalent, master's degree preferred) in a business-related field, Quality management, Business Administration or equivalent Professional Certifications
Relevant certifications such as ISO Lead Auditor, Six Sigma or Quality Management Professional (preferred)
Proven experience in quality assurance, internal auditing and managing ISO certifications
Strong understanding of ISO standards and internal audit methodologies
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment


Experience and Skills Required


Minimum 7 years working experience in an accounting and operations environment
Skilled in quality assurance, continuous improvement, ISO Standards, project management and strategic planning
In-depth understanding of business processes and ability to identify internal control issues and recommend practical solutions in a timely manner to avert losses
Strong analytical skills and able to collate and interpret data from various sources
Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communications and soft skills, fluent written and oral English
Natural aptitude for dealing with people
Experience of working in the telecoms industry will be an added advantage
PCI - DSS Experience will be added advantage
Prince II or any other Project management certification
ITL4 - Practitioner certification preferred
