Job Purpose:
The Quality Checker is responsible for inspecting incoming stored , picked , packed and outgoing products to ensure they meet company quality standards , customer specifications and regulatory requirements,. The role helps minimize errors prevent defective products from reaching customers and support continuous improvement in the warehouse operation
Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect incoming goods for quantity, quality, and condition against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
Conduct quality checks on picked and packed orders before dispatch.
Verify product specifications, labels, batch numbers, expiry dates, and packaging integrity.
Identify, document, and report damaged, defective, or non-conforming products.
Quarantine and segregate rejected or non-compliant stock according to company procedures.
Record inspection findings accurately using quality checklists, reports, or warehouse management systems (WMS).
Work closely with warehouse, inventory, and dispatch teams to resolve quality issues.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations.
Assist with stock audits, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy checks.
Monitor housekeeping and ensure quality inspection areas remain clean and organized.
Participate in investigations of customer complaints and corrective actions where required.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce quality defects and operational errors.
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies.
