Job Summary:
The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes and ensuring that our products and services meet the highest industry standards. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and a passion for quality improvement. The Quality Control Manager will develop and implement quality control policies, procedures, and standards, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Oversee the quality inspection process for all products, ensuring that they meet specified requirements before delivery to customers.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks.
Train and mentor staff on quality control processes and best practices, fostering a culture of quality awareness throughout the organization.
Lead cross-functional teams in root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives related to quality issues.
Prepare detailed quality reports for management, including recommendations for areas of improvement.
Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices in quality management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ) is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance management, preferably in the manufacturing or engineering sector.
Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, TS16949) and quality control methodologies (e.g., statistical process control, lean manufacturing).
Proven ability to lead teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
SALARY EXPECTATION: N300,000 - N 420,000
