Job Summary


We are seeking to hire a competent and detail-oriented Quality Control Officer (Water Treatment) to oversee the monitoring and quality assurance of water used in our production processes.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all water treatment operations meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements for food-grade water.
The role involves routine testing, documentation, and monitoring of water treatment systems to ensure consistent compliance with food safety standards.


Responsibilities


Conduct routine quality checks on treated water, including pH, TDS, conductivity, turbidity, chlorine levels, and microbiological analysis.
Monitor the performance of water treatment systems such as reverse osmosis (RO), softeners, UV sterilizers, and filtration units.
Maintain accurate records of water quality test results and treatment activities.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and food safety standards, including HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Identify deviations and report non-conformities promptly.
Coordinate corrective and preventive actions when water quality falls below acceptable standards.
Ensure proper sanitation and maintenance of the water treatment facility and equipment.
Liaise with external laboratories for specialized testing when required.
Support internal and external audits.


Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree or HND in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Food Science and Technology, Industrial Chemistry, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in quality control, preferably in water treatment or food manufacturing.
Sound knowledge of water treatment processes and laboratory testing procedures.
Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and food safety management systems.
Strong analytical and documentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
