Job Description
We are looking for is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Quantity Surveyor with a National Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying. Applicants should have appropriate experience, across a range of projects, with a medium to large construction company. Candidates should be self-starting and highly motivated, with the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Drafting monthly payment certificates, including variations and claims
Compiling monthly cost reports, cash flows and budgets
Ensuring the correct contractual procedures are followed Performing risk and value management and cost control
Advising on procurement strategy Monitors adherence to company procedures
Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills and quantities Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations Subcontractor management
Financial reporting, cost forecasting and cash management experience
Experience preparing, evaluating and negotiating variations, extension of time claims and contractual entitlements.
Proven ability to allocate work, review outputs and coach team members to improve performance.
Minimum Requirements
National Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying
Minimum years' experience in Construction/ Engineering environment, working in medium to large construction projects
Experience in CCS essential
Sound knowledge of GCC, FIDIC, JBCC and/or NEC Contracts
Driver's license plus own vehicle will be advantageous
