Job Summary
They urgently seek to recruit an experienced Radiographer who is competent in ultrasound, CT Scan, etc equipmentas follows.
Responsibilities
Operate various imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI scanners, and ultrasound machines.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and answering questions, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Take and process images, ensuring that the images are of high quality and meet the required diagnostic standards.
Ensure radiation safety for both patients and healthcare staff, following protocols and regulations.
Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging results and procedures.
Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal operation and image quality.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and plan patient care..
Perform routine quality control checks on imaging equipment to ensure its proper functioning.
Requirements
Education, Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Radiography.
Previous experience in a similar leadership position is a plus.
Membership of related professional associations is an advantage.
Other Conditions:
Candidates should ensure they presently reside in Abakaliki or can easily procure accommodation.
