Responsibilities
Perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, ECG and Ultrasound examinations as required.
Ensure proper patient preparation, positioning, and safety throughout imaging procedures.
Capture high-quality diagnostic images and ensure accurate image documentation.
Adhere strictly to radiation protection,safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality standards.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Perform basic equipment checks, report technical issues promptly, and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Participate in quality assurance activities and continuous improvement of imaging services.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Radiography from a recognized institution.
Valid practicing license/registration with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
Demonstrable knowledge/experience in Ultrasound, ECG and X-ray is required.
Previous experience in a diagnostic center or hospital is preferred.
NYSC discharge certificate is required
Requirements & Skills:
Strong technical knowledge of radiographic techniques and equipment.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and good patient-handling skills.
Sound understanding of radiation protection andsafety protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Good organizational skills and ability to manage patient workflow efficiently.
Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and continuous professional development
