Clinix Healthcare is seeking a skilled, experienced, and patient-focused Radiographer to join our radiology team at the Festac branch. We are committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services with accuracy, safety, and compassion.
Responsibilities
Perform high-quality radiographic examinations including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and other imaging procedures as required.
Operate and maintain radiology equipment (X-ray machines, CR/DR systems, etc.) in accordance with safety standards.
Ensure proper patient positioning, radiation protection, and image optimization for accurate diagnosis.
Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, and address any concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate diagnostic images.
Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols, ALARA principles, and infection control standards.
Participate in quality assurance and equipment maintenance programs.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and hospital policies.
Requirements & Skills
Valid practicing license from the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
Strong technical skills in radiographic imaging and equipment handling.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality images.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
Computer literate with proficiency in radiology information systems (RIS) and PACS.
Commitment to radiation safety, ethical practice, and continuous professional development.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Radiography or Medical Radiography from a recognized institution.
Valid practicing license from the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate (completed).
Minimum of 2 - 3 years post-qualification experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging center.
Experience in a multi-specialty healthcare facility is an added advantage.
