Education and Professional Qualifications
Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences or equivalent training.
Registered with the Radiation Protection Board of Kenya.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent customer service orientation.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality radiological examinations in line with hospital policies and imaging protocols.
Ensure patient safety and equipment integrity through proper preparation and daily quality checks.
Provide clear and accurate information to patients regarding imaging procedures. Monitor patient condition throughout imaging procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
Liaise with clinicians to clarify imaging requests and prevent workflow errors.
Enforce radiation safety measures to protect patients, staff, and the public from unnecessary exposure. Ensure timely availability of images to support prompt reporting and service delivery. Undertake other radiography- related duties as assigned.
Work Experience
Minimum 3 year experience in a busy radiology department.
