The purpose of this role is to execute the receiving, counting, safeguarding, issuing and disposal of stock items to and from the Engineering stores; and attending to related inquiries.

Minimum Requirements


Grade 12


Minimum 2 Years Experience In a Similar Environment


Preferably a Warehouse/Suppy Chain experience
Must have good problem solving skills and with strong analytical thinkin
Good communications skills


Duties & Responsibilities


Receive, store, issue, return and dispose of materials and stock items in a compliant and timely manner.
Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes
Ensure compliance with established procedures and company standards to maintain effective control over the physical spares flow into and out of the store.
Do daily spot checks to ensure that the system and actual stock level balance
Ensure stock is binned neatly and correctly in a daily basis
Assist with cycle and quarterly stock counts
Ensure high levels of housekeeping are maintained.
Ensure compliance with SHEQ procedures in the store.
Maintains purchasing documents, files and records.


Governace


Ensure that ethical standards and the requirements are adhered to.
Correct completing of requisitions for issuing.
Report and or escalate any areas of non-compliance appropriattely
Ensure team members accurately and regularly captures data onto the information system to enable access to reliable data and reporting for trend analysis and decion making
share relevant data with management teams to enable reliable business decision making

Ad Hoc / Other


Oversee filing and safeguarding of records within area of responsibility
Compile of ad hoc spreadsheets when required
Processing of documents for Inter company charge outs
