Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Secretarial Studies, Health Records, Customer Service, Front Office Operations, or any related field
Minimum of three (3) years' experience working in a busy Level 4 hospital setting (MUST have experience)
Strong customer service and patient handling skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage high patient flow in a busy clinical environment
Proficiency in computer applications and hospital management systems will be an added advantage
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to handle patients and relatives with professionalism, empathy, and patience
High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be expected to:
Receive and attend to patients, visitors, and clients in a professional and courteous manner
Manage patient registration, appointment scheduling, and front desk coordination
Direct patients appropriately to consultation rooms, departments, or services
Handle incoming calls, inquiries, and hospital communication channels efficiently
Ensure accurate patient data entry and updates in the hospital management system
Support billing processes and guide patients on payment procedures where necessary
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area at all times
Coordinate patient flow to reduce waiting time and improve service efficiency
Provide general administrative and clerical support to hospital departments as required
Uphold confidentiality, patient dignity, and hospital service standards at all times
