Overview
We are recruiting a professional and detail-oriented Receptionist to manage front-desk operations within a structured logistics and shipping environment.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary in-office contact for walk-in customers, manage shipment notifications, verify package pickups, and ensure accurate documentation. This role requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and attention to security procedures.
Ultimately, you will ensure smooth, secure, and professional customer-facing operations at the front desk.
Key Responsibilities
Notify customers promptly when shipments arrive via phone, SMS, WhatsApp, or email.
Receive and assist walk-in customers, verify identity and documentation before releasing packages.
Maintain accurate records of customer notifications and pickups.
Coordinate with internal teams regarding deliveries, holds, or special instructions.
Manage phone lines, incoming correspondence, and ensure the front desk area remains professional and organized.
Requirements
Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
1 - 2 years' experience in a customer-facing or front-desk role (logistics/retail preferred).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, email usage).
High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and reliability.
Ability to follow security and identification verification procedures.
