Job Summary


The role requires a data-first professional with a solid finance background who can manage high-volume reconciliations, quickly identify and resolve anomalies, and strengthen settlement and financial control processes.
The ideal candidate will ensure daily transaction integrity across our systems and must be detail-oriented and disciplined, with a strong commitment to accuracy and zero tolerance for errors in daily reconciliation cycles.


Key Responsibilities


Perform daily reconciliation of transactions across internal systems, payment platforms, bank statements, and partner reports.
Investigate, analyze, and resolve reconciliation breaks promptly.
Escalate unresolved discrepancies in accordance with internal control protocols.
Monitor settlement cycles to ensure timely and accurate fund movements.
Maintain reconciliation trackers and dashboards for real-time visibility.
Extract, clean, and analyse high-volume transactional data to detect anomalies and variances.
Develop automated reconciliation templates, validation checks, and process improvements.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation and settlement reports with detailed analysis for business decision-making
Provide management with data-driven insights and risk exposure analyses.
Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, compliance standards, and audit requirements.
Document reconciliation procedures and maintain up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Technology teams, and external partners to resolve discrepancies and strengthen process efficiency.
Perform additional assignments as required to support smooth operations.


Qualifications & Requirements


B.Sc. in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related discipline with 3 - 5 years' hands-on reconciliation experience in fintech, banking, or financial services
Strong data analytics background/certification
Strong understanding of settlement cycles and financial controls.
Professional certification (ACCA, ACA, ICAN - completed or in progress) is an advantage.
