About the role


As a Recruitment Consultant, you will play a key role in attracting, sourcing and securing high-quality talent across JHI. You will partner closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand their recruitment needs, provide market insight and manage the recruitment process from sourcing through to appointment and onboarding.
This role is ideally suited to an experienced recruiter who enjoys building strong relationships, working at pace and finding the right talent to support business growth.


What you will bring


Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
4 - 5 years' relevant recruitment experience, ideally gained through a combination of recruitment agency and in-house corporate recruitment experience.
Experience within the property industry, or experience sourcing and recruiting for property-related roles, would be advantageous.
Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition.
Experience sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals and other channels.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to build credible relationships with candidates, hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities.
Experience using recruitment systems, applicant tracking systems and digital sourcing tools.
Sound understanding of relevant employment legislation, employment equity principles and recruitment compliance.
Knowledge of the property industry and its talent market would be advantageous.


What you will be doing


Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned vacancies.
Partner with hiring managers to understand business requirements and develop appropriate sourcing strategies.
Source, screen and assess candidates across a variety of roles.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future recruitment needs.
Coordinate interviews, candidate feedback, reference checks and pre-employment vetting.
Support offer management and maintain candidate engagement through to appointment and onboarding.
Build strong relationships with hiring managers and act as a trusted recruitment partner.
Provide market insights on talent availability, remuneration trends and recruitment challenges.
Maintain accurate recruitment records and provide recruitment reporting and updates.
Ensure recruitment practices remain fair, consistent and aligned with applicable legislation, policies and employment equity objectives.
Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, candidate experience and sourcing effectiveness.
Contribute to employer-branding, talent-attraction and broader HR initiatives.
Develop networks within the property sector and participate in relevant recruitment and industry engagements where required.
