Salary: R27,000 per month (South Africa-based role)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM UK time
Location: Remote (South Africa-based)
Holidays: UK Bank Holidays off

Job Overview

We are seeking a Recruitment Operations Assistant to support a construction recruitment firm by managing essential operational and administrative tasks. This role is designed to streamline recruitment workflows, data management, and system integrations, ensuring that recruiters can focus on business development and placements.

The ideal candidate is highly organised, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to managing recruitment processes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Sourcing Support

  • Conduct candidate research and market mapping, creating longlists of potential candidates for recruiters.
  • Use Cognism to generate and enrich candidate and client data.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems (JobAdder or similar) to ensure accurate and structured candidate/client information.
  • Track incoming leads and market insights, ensuring they are logged and actioned effectively.

Operations & Administrative Support

  • Manage and troubleshoot timesheet portal issues, ensuring smooth contractor invoicing and payroll processes.
  • Handle contract administration, ensuring all agreements are correctly recorded and processed.
  • Oversee technology integrations, ensuring seamless operations across platforms like JobAdder, Slack, Force24, and Cognism.
  • Assist in data entry, reporting, and general recruitment operations support.
  • Ensure all recruitment systems and workflows remain optimised and up to date.

Skills & Experience Required

  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment operations, administration, or a similar role.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms such as JobAdder, Bullhorn, or similar.
  • Tech-savvy, with experience managing software integrations and troubleshooting system issues.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote environment.
  • Reliable laptop, stable internet connection, and ability to work remotely.
