JOB PURPOSE
The Hunter is responsible for expanding Red Bull's on-premise outlet universe across Nairobi by identifying, recruiting and activating new outlets through the wholesaler network.
The role acts as the growth engine for new customer acquisition, ensuring a continuous pipeline of new outlets that can be converted into active customers and integrated into the broader on-premise coverage model.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
New Outlet Recruitment
Identify new outlets that are not currently stocking Red Bull.
Approach prospects and introduce the Red Bull proposition.
Negotiate initial listing and agreement to stock Red Bull.
Secure the first order through the assigned wholesaler.
Convert recruited outlets into active customers.
First Order Activation & Market Entry
Facilitate the first stock order through the wholesaler.
Ensure newly recruited outlets are ready to begin trading successfully.
Support basic product visibility at outlet level, including poster frames and initial placement.
Ensure smooth handover into the active outlet coverage universe after activation.
Market Scouting & Pipeline Development
Continuously map new nightlife zones, hospitality developments, and emerging venue openings across Nairobi.
Identify areas with low market penetration and untapped opportunities.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective outlets.
Share market intelligence and expansion opportunities with the On-Premise team.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
2 - 4 years' experience in FMCG, beverage sales, or on-premise customer acquisition.
Strong understanding of Nairobi nightlife, hospitality, and entertainment landscape.
Proven experience in prospecting, customer acquisition, and outlet recruitment.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
High field mobility and willingness to spend significant time in-market.
Valid driver's license.
