We are seeking an experienced and performance-oriented Regional Bank Branch Manager to manage branch operations and services to effectively grow our business while offering exceptional customer service in our assigned regions. The position needs an individual with strategic management skills and in-depth knowledge of the banking business, one who can manage finances, compliance, risks, and productivity, while promoting community and customer relationships. The successful candidate will ensure efficient branch performance, revenue growth and operational excellence aligned with the bank's strategic objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Provide strategic financial inputs according to the aspirations of the organization.
Develop and carry out financial techniques, budgets, projections, and costs control applications.
Map the accounting, reporting, finance, taxes, and cash management functions
Comply fully with banking regulations, financial laws, as well as regulatory reporting.
Oversee financial risk management for the entire company, including credit risk, liquidity risk, and operating risk.
Financial activities should be carefully monitored to make recommendations on any deviations to improve profitability and efficiency.
Offer advice to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors in matters of financial results, capital, and strategic investment.
Oversee relationships with regulators, auditors, finance institutions, etc.
Monitor internal control, auditing, and governance systems.
Promote the improvement in business processes and financial systems for accuracy, efficiency, and clarity.
Aid in the growth and expansion of the business through financial modelling and analysis.
Effective capital allocation and balance sheet management in the organization.
To lead, develop, and build teams comprising finance, accounting, and treasury professionals.
Engage with other departments to support operational planning and business performance.
Monitored financial performance of branches in relation to financial policies of the head office.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of management accounts, statutory reports, and board papers.


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE


Minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in the banking sector.
Previous experience as a Bank Manager or Branch Manager is mandatory.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree or professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA is an added advantage).
Strong understanding of banking operations, financial controls, and regulatory frameworks.
Proficiency in accounting software and core banking systems; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
Proven leadership, decision-making, and strategic planning abilities.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
