Key Responsibilities
Collect, analyse, and maintain accurate cost and expense information.
Develop and maintain data accumulation systems.
Plan, record, and review variable costs.
Compare standard and actual costs and investigate discrepancies.
Prepare budget reports and assist with forecasting.
Analyse profit margins and provide detailed reporting to management.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Evaluate and improve cost accounting processes and systems.
Prepare reports and commentary on cost trends.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses for new projects, products, and process improvements.
Support regional branches with accurate financial insights and reporting.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CIMA qualification.
2 - 3 years' experience in cost accounting or a similar role.
Strong financial reporting, analysis, and management experience.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with accounting software.
Experience in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Willingness to travel between regional branches.
