What you'll do:

As Regional Manager based in Pretoria, you will play an integral part in shaping the future of the region's property finance operations. Your day-to-day activities will involve crafting tailored sales strategies that respond to evolving market conditions while collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners.


Formulate comprehensive sales strategies and budgets for the region by analysing market trends, operational risks, and socio-economic factors
Drive the implementation of sales plans by managing resources effectively across various channels and sub-segments of the target market
Monitor daily sales performance against targets and budgets, providing guidance and support to ensure consistent achievement of key performance indicators
Build and maintain robust business relationships with high-value customers, alliance partners such as banks and real estate agents
Represent the organisation at formal industry events and social forums, strengthening influential connections both internally across branches and externally within the wider business community.
Implement processes that optimise sales capacity by matching consultants with appropriate channels and markets for optimal results.
Support licensee offices through regular interaction, addressing operational challenges, channel disputes, or complex deals while ensuring quality applications are submitted to banking partners.
Utilise management information systems (MIS) proactively to identify dormant licensees or new business opportunities, taking corrective action where necessary to maximise performance.
Develop customer retention strategies by identifying service gaps in collaboration with consultants and strategic partners, ensuring contracts are up-to-date and value is continually added for existing clients.
Oversee risk management by monitoring compliance with legal requirements related to property sales and home loan policies, ensuring adherence to all relevant documentation standards.


Requirements:


Matric qualification
Tertiary qualification in Business Management (advantageous)
Five to ten years' experience in a senior leadership position within sales management
Demonstrated history of successfully managing high-performing sales teams
Proven track record in developing effective sales strategies
Experience or exposure to home loans processes (advantageous)
Exceptional networking abilities with a talent for building lasting relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
High emotional intelligence (EQ) combined with influential interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving capabilities paired with excellent time management skills
Sound decision-making abilities supported by attentive listening skills
