Role Description


The Regional Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Nigeria, responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration within an assigned region. Day-to-day activities include leading and mentoring regional sales teams, setting and monitoring sales targets, and analyzing regional market trends to identify opportunities and risks. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts, while ensuring effective execution of sales strategies and promotional activities.
The Regional Sales Manager will collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to provide market feedback, optimize product offerings, and improve customer satisfaction.
Regular travel within the region is expected to visit customers, oversee field operations, and ensure alignment with company standards and objectives.


Qualifications


Demonstrated experience in regional sales management, business development, or key account management within White Goods and Home Appliances, or related sectors.
Strong skills in sales planning, territory management, target setting, and performance monitoring, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Proficiency in market analysis, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making to identify growth opportunities and optimize regional strategies.
Effective relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate with distributors, retailers, and cross-functional internal teams.
Leadership capabilities, including team coaching, performance management, and the ability to motivate diverse sales teams.
Solid communication and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and communicate regional performance to management.
Working knowledge of CRM tools and basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations) to manage pipelines and report results.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
Good understanding of the Nigerian market and regional variations; willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
