As the Regional Sales Manager, Trauma & Extremities, you will lead a high-performing team to deliver sustainable sales growth across Limpopo, Pretoria, and Northwest. This role directly impacts commercial success by shaping regional strategy, developing talent, and strengthening customer partnerships to improve healthcare outcomes.


What You Will Do


Lead and develop a regional sales team of approximately 15 - 20 employees, setting clear goals and driving accountability for performance outcomes
Own regional revenue performance, managing a portfolio of approximately USD 7 - 10M and delivering against annual targets and growth plans
Develop and execute strategic sales plans, including forecasting, pipeline management, and territory optimization
Build and maintain key customer relationships, including healthcare professionals, decision-makers, and industry stakeholders
Drive cross-functional collaboration with marketing, operations, and other divisions to improve customer experience and commercial effectiveness
Monitor market trends and competitor activity, translating insights into actionable strategies and growth opportunities
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal processes, maintaining ethical and quality standards within the medical device environment
Lead performance management and talent development, including coaching, succession planning, and hiring to build a strong sales culture


What You Will Need

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in sales within a commercial environment, including 5 years of experience leading sales teams and delivering business results
Medical device industry experience
Demonstrated experience managing regional sales revenue of USD 7 - 10M and proven experience managing teams of 15 - 20 employees
Strong understanding of financial management, forecasting, and profit and loss (P&L)
Fluency in spoken and written English


Preferred Qualifications


Experience in Trauma & Extremities or Orthopedics
Knowledge of healthcare systems, tenders, and regulatory requirements
