Regulatory & Supplier Quality Specialist

Our client, a leading player in trade and export, seeks to ensure that all onboarded suppliers and product SKUs comply with applicable Kenyan export requirements and Chinese GB (GuoBiao) national standards, minimizing the risk of customs delays, holds, or product rejections at Chinese ports of entry. Key Responsibilties: Conduct physical on-site facility audits and process verification using the Supplier Capacity Assessment. Verify local raw material sourcing logs and GPS farm traceability records. Coordinate sample collection and submission to CNAS/KEBS-accredited laboratories for GB standard testing (heavy metals, pesticide MRLs, microbiology). Prepare and submit technical dossiers for GACC CIFER portal registrations and coordinate with KEPHIS/KEBS for recommendation letters. Manage Chinese back-label compliance and pre-shipment sampling with CCIC inspectors in Mombasa. Key SKILLS and Qualifications 4+ years in Quality Assurance, SPS compliance, or food safety auditing (HACCP/ISO 22000). Degree in Food Science, Agronomy, Quality Management, or related technical field. Direct working knowledge of KEPHIS, KEBS, and CCIC inspection procedures
